Terms of Service

Welcome to CraftVendr. CraftVendr is a hosted storefront platform that allows independent crafters and sellers (“Sellers”) to create online storefronts, list products, and receive inquiries from potential buyers (“Buyers”).

By creating an account or using our services at craftvendr.com, you agree to these Terms of Service.

CraftVendr provides:

• A hosted storefront URL (craftvendr.com/your-shop-name) for Sellers to display products
• Product listing management (titles, descriptions, images, pricing)
• An inquiry system for Buyers to contact Sellers
• During our founding period, full access is provided free of charge. Paid plans with additional features (such as custom domains) are planned for the future.

CraftVendr is not a marketplace. We do not facilitate transactions between Buyers and Sellers, process payments for product sales, or guarantee any sale or business outcome.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create a Seller account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must provide accurate information during registration.
• One account per person. One shop per account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

As a Seller, you agree to:

• List only products you have the legal right to sell
• Provide accurate product descriptions and pricing
• Respond to buyer inquiries in good faith
• Comply with all applicable laws, including consumer protection laws in India
• Not use the platform for prohibited items (weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, illegal products)

• You retain ownership of all content you upload (product images, descriptions, shop branding).
• By uploading content, you grant CraftVendr a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, host, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating the service.
• CraftVendr branding, logos, and platform code are our intellectual property.

• Founding Crafter accounts receive full access free for 12 months. No payment card is collected at signup.
• After the founding year, your shop will move to a paid plan to keep it running. We will tell you the price well in advance.
• Nothing will be charged without you choosing to continue — there is no silent or automatic charge.
• Paid plan details and pricing will be published before any paid billing begins, and these terms will be updated accordingly.

• Where offered, the AI description generator uses artificial intelligence to suggest product descriptions.
• AI-generated content is a suggestion only. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all content before publishing.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, originality, or suitability of AI-generated descriptions.

• CraftVendr is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
• We are not liable for any transactions between Sellers and Buyers.
• We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of listed products.
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

• You may delete your account at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these terms, with or without notice.
• Upon termination, your storefront becomes inaccessible. Product data may be deleted after 30 days.

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered Sellers.

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
